TMVPHC Mare Owners Futurity

                     Eligibility:
1.
Mare must be owned by a Paid member of the Temecula Paint Horse Club at the time of nominations.
2.
Nominated mares foal must be owned by a Paid member of the Temecula Paint  Horse Club at the time of showing.
3.
Mare must be bred in 2010 to produce a registered paint foal in 2011,
either     regular or breeding stock: Paint to Paint , Paint to Quarter horse, or Paint to Thoroughbred.
4.
Foals must be shown by the Owner. Member of owners immediate family, and  a APHA Novice/Amateur or Youth Member
Copy of the APHA Novice/Amateur card should be sent with the sustaining form.

    Colts / Geldings of 2011

JUDGING:
1.     Classes will be conducted and judged in accordance with APHA rules.
FEES AND PAYMENT SCHEDULE:
1.
A Mare nomination fee of ten dollars ($10.00) must be mailed with the mare nomination form along with a copy of the mare’s  registration papers to the mare owner futurity secretary;  Postmarked no later January 31, 2011.  After Jan 31, 2011, $20.00 by February 28, 2011, $30.00 by March 31, 2011, $40.00 by April 30, 2011, $50.00
 by May 31, 2011. $100.00 thereafter until 5:00 PM the day before the futurity class is held.  Mare nomination fees will go into the futurity payout.
2.
The Foal Payments (foal payment Form and the Second Foal Payment Form) are Broken into 2 payments.
3.
The first foal payment of Seventy Five Dollars ( $75.00) must be mailed to the     Mare Owner Futurity secretary postmarked no later than June 30, 2011. Foal  nominations will be accepted after June 30, 2011, and before August 15, 2011,     with a $40.00 penalty (for total of $115.00).
4.
The second foal payment of Seventy Five ($75.00) must be mailed to the Mare Owners Futurity secretary along with a copy of the foals registration papers  postmarked no later than August 15, 2011. Foal payments will be accepted After August 15, 2011 at double the foal payment for a total of one hundred Fifty dollars ($150.00).
5.
Late foal payments will be accepted until 5:00pm the day before the class is held at     double the fees.
6.
NOMINATION OR SUSTAINING FEES WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR  ANY REASON OTHER THAN CANCELLATION OF THE CLASS OR THE DEATH OF THE FOAL WITH A VETERINARY CERTIFICATE.

SCORING:

2.
In case of a tie, monies to be paid for each place involved in the tie will be added together and divided equally between the horses tied. Awards will be determined by the horse that placed highest the most number of times. In the event that there is still a tie, a predetermined tiebreaker judge will be used.
OVERALL AWARDS:
1.
First (1st) place will receive an award.
2.
First (1st) place through tenth (10th) place will receive a ribbon.
PURSE DISTRIBUTION
All monies collected shall be included in the purse with the exception of a 25% per fully paid entry to the show office fee. The number of placings paid will be determined by the number of fully paid entries.

Monies earned will be paid by check and mailed to the owner within three (3) weeks of the close of the show. If recipient has any monies due to TMVPHC, checks will be held until monies due have been paid.
GENERAL RULES:
1.
There is no limit to the number of nominations made by one owner.
2.
Horses may be shown prior to the Futurity.
3.
Absolutely no substitutions of mare or foal will be permitted.
4.
Failure to provide the futurity secretary with copies of registration papers of the mare or the foal and the novice amateur and amateur cards prior to the show date will mean forfeiture of all payments made.
5.
Any protest must be made to the Futurity Committee in writing and be accompanied by $50.00 refundable only if the protest is upheld.
6.
Futurity classes will not count for State or National Points.
7.
The Futurity Committee reserves the right to cancel and / or make changes in the Futurity that may be deemed necessary.
8.
It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to be at the gate when the class is called.
9.
TMVPHC and/ or APHA and /or the  Show Grounds Facility will not be held  responsible for any injuries to horses, owners or exhibitors in this futurity.
10.
There will be a thirty five dollar($35.00) penalty charged for all returned checks.
11.
